The Composites Knowledge Network (CKN) translates and shares current research and development on composite materials to empower Canadian businesses with the knowledge they need to succeed. CKN’s vision is to be Canada’s authority on translating world-class knowledge on composite materials and structures to industry quickly and effectively to benefit small businesses, their employees, and the communities they serve.

CKN connects industry with leading-edge technology through: 

  • The Knowledge in Practice Centre, an integrated one-stop learning resource for science-based composites manufacturing and design best practices  
  • AIM Events that provide networking opportunities tor SMEs and industry members 
  • The Canadian Composites Alliance (CCA), a resource to bring individualized and direct service and support to Canadian SMEs, thus giving them an edge over the international competition
